Infrastructure is more than just sewers. It's the foundation for building a smart, sustainable economically and ecologically modern community. It's the basis for how municipalities work to improve the lives of its residents. Done well, smart infrastructure connects all of this both physically and electronically. It's the basis for being able to build a smart revitalized economy that will bond together the business, cultural and environmental elements of our Township.
It's also the reason why we complain when we run over unattended potholes, take long detours around bridge repairs and wince when we can't get what we need online immediately. We still have a lot of work ahead of us to get our total infrastructure to the level we would all expect. To achieve this, we will need to work together as a total community. All of us, government (local, county and state), our universities, the school system and healthcare facilities must work as a team to guide our trajectory to success. We have begun the heavy work of repairing decades of procrastination with the pending sale of the sewer system. I ask you to support my re-election so I may continue the work.
Together we can make it happen.
