A little background

Brad Pransky was raised in Cheltenham Township and graduated from Cheltenham High School in 1968. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in 1972. His undergraduate focus of study was Psychology with a minor in Business Law.Commissioner Brad Pransky
He continued with postgraduate studies in Marketing and Theoretical Accounting.

Brad and his wife Lee are residents of Elkins Park. They relocated their offices to Elkins Park in 1998. Brad is the CEO and co-founder of Interactive Intelligence. Prior to establishing this company aimed at addressing the interactive technology market, Brad functioned as Vice President and co-founder of DBIS Inc. From 1982 to 1995, as COO and Vice President of DBIS Inc., Brad's responsibilities included marketing, system design and evaluation, long term strategic planning and project positioning.

Among his clients, Brad was a consultant to the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation for over 35 years. His experience with PIDC has honed his skills in various approaches to economic development. At the beginning of 2002, a new effort was launched called Innovation Philadelphia. Brad was involved in consulting for this organization as well.

Prior to establishing DBIS Inc. Brad was a partner in an industrial manufacturing and distribution firm for 10 years.
For several years, Brad was a contributing editor to Amy Wohl's Opinions, a technology newsletter, and other trade related publications. He is currently the editor of INT2View, an Internet publication of Interactive Intelligence.

A member of many charitable organizations Brad served on the Board of Directors of Variety Club International (Philadelphia Chapter) and was instrumental in the automation and computerization of their previously annual televised fund raising event. Brad has designed and coordinated publicity campaigns and special events for major retail clients. Brad, an accomplished musician, composes and conducts choral arrangements.
